Hi all,

My name is wendy and I live in Melbourne, Australia.
I have been trained originally as a physicist, but I am currently studying to be a games programmer at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Melbourne.

Previously I have worked in web-development using technologies such as Python, Zope, and Django.

I am interested in lots of things, presumably some of them will find their way into this blog at some point, so I won’t try to list them here.

I’ve not yet figured out what sort of blog I want to have, so at the moment it’s all a bit random.

I’m finding that one thing I am already using it for a lot is simply to store links to things I personally might want to look at again.

In fact I do use it, but I find actually concentrating on something for long enough to blog it as well as just tag it makes me more likely to remember it in future, and so I sometimes do this for particularly interesting things.

I might keep this particular blog as my ‘random hodge-podge’ blog, and then start another one if I decide on a more focussed kind of blog that I would like to do.
