testing out the ‘performancing’ firefox plugin, blogging some notes about a dark crystal video on ‘YouTube’

Just testing out the 'performancing' firefox plugin.

Seems like a useful tool thus far.

what I've done so far is:

* installed the plugin
* right-clicked on a page, selected 'performancing –> blog this page' from the context menu.
* then this groovy little editor window thingy opened up, with the link to the original page I right-clicked on all neatly inserted already and so on, just waiting for me to add comments.
* then some hickups, as I'd yet to actually tell it any of my blog details for it to blog to 🙂
* clicked around for a bit, found something called 'accounts wizard' or 'blog wizard', I forget which.
* this allowed me to add my wordpress blog, (asks for login name and password), and seemed to also have an impressive range of other blog-types which you could add.

* finally, went back to the 'editor' thingy, and here I am now, typing into it. I now have the option to 'save as note', 'clear content', or "publish to 'wendy's wordpress' "

* Here goes then, I'll try publishing to my wordpress.

    What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
    front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
    a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
    Thanks.
